As part of Black history celebrations in Hull, Bameen in partnership with black history partnership with support from Hull City council organised a trip of BME kids to hull scrape store sat the 19th October 2013. The idea behind this workshop is to encourage and develop creative minds. This we expect to help these kids to a range of inspiring ideas of trying to reclaim resources that would have gone to landfills and this will further develop an understanding of the value of re-using materials. Ten(10) kids from minority background were involved.
